HeadWaters is the executive program of Origins Behavioral HealthCare. With more than 35 years experience treating addictions, Origins is nationally known for the scientific rigor and success of its evidence-based therapies and its holistic approach to the recovery needs of individuals and their families.
The HeadWaters treatment program is based at Hanley Center at Origins, South Florida’s oldest and most well-known provider of services for individuals and families suffering from addiction and related disorders. HeadWaters uses a comprehensive bio-psycho-social model to integrate all aspects of assessment and treatment.
Consideration of the biological and psychological factors unique to the individual, along with the influences of family and personal life, are integrated by the multidisciplinary clinical team to develop each client’s individualized treatment plan.
A highly skilled team assures superior on-site medical and clinical services. Medical care is directed by a preeminent addictionologist and includes delivery of physician-managed detoxification services with sophisticated 24-hour nursing care for clients suffering acute withdrawal from alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and other drugs of abuse.
The HeadWaters team of health care professionals includes the highly regarded care and expertise provided by the Lawlis-Peavey PsychoNeuroPlasticity (PNP) Center. The PNP Center’s methodology is built on evidence-based research on the brain’s capacity to restructure and renew itself. While the center seeks answers to problem behaviors, it also helps clients optimize their strengths and self-regulating skills for a richer and more fulfilling life.
